This low carb version of a root beer float is easy to make and tastes just like the traditional root beer float without the carbs. Enjoy this sugar free root beer float on a hot summer day or when you simply want to walk down memory lane and share the good old days with your children.
Ingredients Used
We used the Keto Chow Root Beer to give all the delicious root beer flavour to this float without the added sugar from a root beer soda. We also use some heavy cream, Origin Vanilla Extract and fresh cold water.
How to make a Keto Root Beer Float?
STEP 1: In a large bowl whip together the whipping cream and the vanilla extract until stiff peaks form. Then using a large spoon, drop dollops of the whipped cream onto a baking sheet lined with waxed paper. Freeze for 1 to 2 hours.
STEP 2: In a blender add the keto chow root beer with the water and blend until dissolved. Then refrigerate until the whipped cream is ready from the freezer.
STEP 3: Divide the root beer mixture into two large glasses and then divide scoops of the frozen whipped cream between the two glasses. Top with more root beer mixture if you have any remaining.
