Cacao Nut Balls!!! Sounds delicious!!!

Oscar of I Hacked Diabetes is back again with this DELICIOUSSS snack recipe! You can have them as a workout power snack or even with your morning coffee for a little pick me up. 

AND GUESS WHAT? These only take 15 minutes to make!!! Who doesn't love something that quick yet delicious to eat.

Although these Cacao Nut Balls are coated with hazelnuts and toasted coconut, you can always swap it up with your favourite nuts like ground walnut, pecan or even pistachios or Pili Nuts!!!

We love hazelnuts, especially these ones from Coco Polo where you can actually see pieces of REAL hazelnuts inside the chocolate bar. OH-SO-DELICIOUS! 

To make these cacao nut balls it will take you... 

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 5 minutes

Total Time: 15 minutes  | This recipe yields 6 cacao nut balls

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 oz Hazelnuts 

  • 1 oz Toasted Coconut Flakes 

  • 3 tbsp Pili Nut Butter or use any of your favourite nut butters

  • 2 oz of Chocolate Ganache - see how Oscar made it using Coco Polo Chocolates Here

  • 1 tbsp of Philosophie Cacao Magic

  • 1/2 tbsp of Cacao Powder 

  • 1/2 cup Almond Flour 

  • 1 tbsp of Heavy Cream

  • 15 drops of Stevia 

Ingredients for low carb cacao nut balls recipe

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Combine the crushed hazelnuts and toasted coconuts in a small bowl

  2. In a medium bowl add all other ingredients and mix well with a fork

  3. Using a tablespoon scoop out mixture and form into 1 inch balls

  4. Roll into the hazelnut/coconut mixture and coat well

  5. Enjoy!
